Mont D'Or

Bush habit. Wax pods are crisp, juicy, and tender with a mild flavor. Dry beans are sweet and have good texture and flavor. Straight, light green pods quickly become pale yellow. Mature pods are slightly darker yellow. Fully expanded pods measure 4-5" long and 0.5" wide. 5-7 seeds per pod. Bushy plants have slightly blistered leaves and measure 1.3-1.8' tall. Purple flowers with dark purple blotch on standard. Mature seeds are small, round, and dark brown almost black. Moderately low productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018.
