Winterfare

Pole dry bean from Maine. Light tan with greenish tinge, seeds 5/16x1/4x1/4", dark green ring around brown ring at hilum. Dry pods 3.5"x3/8"x1/2", 40/oz. Named by ME BO W. Grown in half shade, I got 162 seeds (4 oz) from 6 plant in 2014 (enough rain). Survived hot dry 2017 (1.5 ounce) and 2018 (1 ounce). Best grown in a different climate or at least with more water. 90 days to ripe. 100% 3-year and 60% 5-year germination. 2025 seed. Lots of rain then less rain in 2025. I watered it occasionally from rainbarrels with a watering can.
