Plum tomato. Orange fruit are oval in shape with dark orange flesh. Fruit measure 2.3-2.75 inches long, 1.75-2.85 inches wide, and weigh 3-6 ounces. Fruit found in 4-7 per cluster. Slight to moderate cracking. Indeterminate with standard leaves. A bit later maturing and average productivity when grown at Heritage Farm in 2016. BRIX reading 4.2. This is a very acidic and tart tomato. Donated to SSE in 2014 by Kathleen Moore of North Carolina. Grown by both Kathleen, her sister Eula Norris, and Eula's daughter Betty. Originally from the family of Lula Eggers of Glade Spring, VA who was an acquaintance of Eula's. Reportedly grown for over 100 years, presumably by the Eggers family. SSE Accession # 132351
