8" X 1" Yellow, flat pods born in abundance on plants with pole bean growth. Pods are exceedingly tender and remain tender for a long time, yet they have almost no strings. http://seedsavingnetwork.proboards.com/thread/134/barksdale-wax-pole-bean In 2018 I planted a row of these on 7/11/2018, right at the hottest part of our summer. These came into production when temperatures moderated and provided a bumper crop of beautiful, easy to pick, tender pods. Also, in 2017 Sandhill Preservation Center grew out frozen seed from within one year of my first growout of this bean. I added this to my current seed stock.
