Original seed from Dave Christensen, Big Timber Montana. 90-110 days. 4-5' tall - long, slender ears with 8 uniform rows of shiny "black" kernels. can see in the (very dark purple/blue). A genetically pure strain of Navajo black corn that he has been selectively breeding for the last 50 years for cold and drought tolerance and maximum anthocyanidin content. (10 X that of blue corn) Grown in isolation to assure purity.
