Sweet pimento pepper. Medium-sized, oblate, red fruit. Deeply ribbed. Thick walls. Crunchy. Market fruit 2" long, 2.0-3.5" wide. Plants upright, 2-3' tall. Mid-season maturity. Brix 6.2. Medium productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. Capsicum annuum. This variety is named for Guido and Stephanie Rampone of Pennsylvania, who shared the seeds with SSE member Bernie Daigle (PA DA B). When Bernie donated seeds to SSE in 2005, he said the Rampones had grown the peppers since the 1960s. SSE Accession # 118190
