Machashi

Artichoke type. Bulbs are blushed with violet and are comprised of 10-18 cloves, arranged in multiple layers. Inner cloves tend to be fairly large. Cloves are light brown. Plants are relatively short, with very little space between the leaves. Softneck, but has a tendency to partially bolt in some climates. Stores well. Requests may be made for this variety starting September 21, 2026 at 9 a.m. CT for shipment around mid-October.
