Pioneer Pink Eye

Pioneer Pink Eye Beans, Bush type. Very rare. A white bean with a small pink “eye” spot. I first heard of this bean from Caleb Warnock in his book called “Seed Saving.” He told a story about how he thought this variety was extinct but after talking about the variety in a speech, a family told him that they had some of the seeds. He was able to grow them and preserve the variety. The variety is an old variety that was valued by the Mormon pioneers. The seeds I have were purchased from Caleb Warnock and grown out for several years in my personal garden in Idaho. I currently have a small amount to offer.
