Rudbeckia hirta

Single Image
FLOWERS / BLACK-EYED-SUSAN
Wild collected in north Maryland. Very hardy native plant that flowers in full sun but can still survive in heavy shade (although it will grow slower and flower less). Tolerates all kinds of soils and most moisture levels. Beautiful yellow and black flowers! Please note they do require cold stratification, so are best planted in the fall if you don't want to use the refrigerator method.
