Nantes type. Thick, cylindrical, bright orange carrots with blunt tips. Smooth skin. Solid orange core. Moderately uniform. Low splitting frequency, no forking in 2016 planting at Heritage Farm. Moderately leafy, semi-erect. Roots 5-8" long at market maturity, 1.0-1.6" in diameter and weigh 2.3-4.7oz. Fair flavor, moderately sweet, dry texture in 2016. Low bolting tendency. Brix 8.7.
