Swamp Milkweed

Red Milkweed - acquired from SSE years ago - listed in their catalog as Red Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) aka Swamp Milkweed. I harvest the seeds from my plants. They generally grow to 3-4 feet and have long (4 to 7 inches) thin (up to 1 inch wide) leaves with pink to light red flowers. Well behaved plants that don't spread aggressively. Once established they tend to come back reliably. I find monarch caterpillars every year.
