POPCORN
Popcorn. Yellow kernels. Ears range in size from 6-12"; average width of 1". Plants approximately 7-10' tall averaging 2 ears per stalk but listed seed was harvested from the 7 plants that produced three ears each. I applied Plant-Tone organic fertilizer as well as two applications of Jacks 20-20-20 as needed. Perimeter plants were subject to some lodging but not bad considering we had several heavy thunderstorms. The popped corn is a little smaller than commercially sold popcorn, but very tasty and there were almost zero un-popped kernels. From SSE Accession # 108085
