Giant Yellow Banana

C. annuum. Wax type pepper with thick walls. The peppers mature from pale yellow-green to red. The fruits measure 1-1.5" wide, 7-7.5" long, 1-2 oz. They are elongate and pointed. The fruit are crunchy and juicy, but could be sweeter. The plants measure 1.5-2 ft tall. They are purple and green. This variety was highly productive, even when affected by sidease during the 2021 planting at Heritage Farm. Early maturing. SSE Accession # 117436
