Evaluated at Heritage Farm in 2025, description in progress. Donated to SSE by Ermal Kuhns (IN KU E) who received it from his sister and brother-in-law, Claude and Ethel (Kuhns) Smith. This variety is originally named for an aunt Edna in Claude's family. Claude's Quaker ancestors brought the bean to the Monrovia area of Morgan County, IN from North Carolina in about 1835.
