Cherokee Tan Pumpkin is an heirloom, open-pollinated, pie pumpkin variety that was originally grown by the Cherokee Native Americans in the Appalachian mountains. Very disease-resistant and grows despite heat or drought. Similar to Seminole Pumpkin, but consistently smaller pumpkins. Bright orange flesh that is sweet when roasted. Stores well.
