Chamaecrista fasciculata. 18-24" legume native to the eastern US. Fern-like leaves with yellow flowers. Flowers are VERY attractive to bees. Plants need protection from deer. Very attractive in large plantings. Host plant for Cloudless Sulphur butterfly. Full sun, tolerates dry, poor soils. Seed obtained from local park, grown out in 2026.
