De Barrao

Red, roma-type paste tomato; 1.5" x 2.5-3". Determinate, 2-3' plants. Productive. Regular leaf type. This variety was donated to SSE by Bill McDorman who got it on a collections trip to Barnaul, Siberia in 1989. He received a sample of the seeds after a PhD plant breeder at the Institute of Horticulture smuggled it to him along with 60 other varieties that had been created at the facility.
