Red

A beautiful, warm season replacement for spinach. Red/Purple leaves are beautiful in fresh salads. Orach makes seed in three different types of bracts (papery cases), which identify how quickly the seed inside will germinate. Those in the largest bracts germinate quickly when sown in Spring. Small-bracted and non-bracted seeds germinate slower and are better suited for direct-sowing in Fall. Bracts are left intact to identify these germination types. Seed package = ~100 seeds.
