Aconcagua is a very large banana-type pepper. It starts off as light green-yellow, eventually turning red. The pepper is lightly flavored, good in stir fries or fresh eating. Germination is usually high with healthy seedlings. The plant can grow over 3 feet tall with excellent production of peppers. I use concrete wire cages to provide support. The fruit are usually straight but can curl. Peppers that are 9 inches long are common, with some stretching over a foot.
