VEGETABLES / BEAN
SNAP-POLE
Pole Greasy. Greasy beans lack the fine fuzz that most beans have. The pods often look shinny or slightly soaked with oil. For eating they are usually harvested when the seed inside is still soft and cooked hull and soft beans inside. This greasy bean is very productive. It's origin is Lee county Virginia. Acquired from Brad Wilson at the 2025 Bill Best's Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Seed Swap. First Saturday every November.
