Pole Dry. Malawi Pinto is from the African nation of Malawi. It was brought back to North America by world traveler and rare seed hunter Joseph Simcox. The bean is very productive and produces it's entire seed crop in my northern Illinois 5b hardiness zone climate. Given to me as a gift by Joseph Simcox in 2013.
