Bush, dry. Dark golden-tan seeds are oval in shape and medium-sized. 3–6 seeds per pod, often 5. Green pods are straight to slightly curved and measure 3.2–4.1" long. Plants reach 14.5–24" tall with green foliage and pink flowers. ?Early-season maturing. Lower vigor when grown in 2025 on Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE in 1981 by bean collector John Withee of Lynnfield, Massachusetts and the Wanigan Associates.
