Orca -dry bush bean

(Phaseolus vulgaris) 90 days. 'Wolverine's Orca' bush dry bean produces fat pods and large, round beans that are meaty and delicious. Plants were small, but productive in my locally cool summer of 2026. This line is traced back to Secwepemc elder Wolverine William Ignace, a lifelong seed saver and crusader for indigenous rights. Also called 'yin-yang' as beans are roughly half white and half black, often with a small dot in the opposite-colored half.
