VEGETABLES / LIMA-BEAN
POLE
Acquired by SSE from Russ Crow (IL CR R) who received it in 1980 from SSE member Ernie P. Griggs of Oak Ridge, TN. Griggs did not know a name for the lima, but indicated it was an old variety. Satellite images taken by NASA at that time inspired Russ Crow to name it 'Neptune.'
