Greek

SSE received this variety in the early 1980s from Exchange lister Ruth Congram (IN CO R) of Monticello, Indiana. Ruth acquired the cucumber variety in 1971 from a Greek foreign exchange student named Kati. After finishing school, Kati married an American and lived in North Judson, Indiana. Ruth met her through a mutual friend. Kati thought U.S. cucumbers were too strong, so she wrote home for seed and her mother sent these from Greece.
