SSE received this variety in the early 1980s from Exchange lister Lucina Cress (OH CR L) of Bucyrus, Ohio. Given to her by a friend, it became a favorite of Lucina's for making pickled peppers stuffed with cabbage to sell at her church's bazaar. Lucina used a combination of three miniature varieties (Yellow, Red, Chocolate) to create a colorful effect in year jar.
