This is the classic San Marzano tomato. Makes delicious tomato sauce for pasta. Indeterminate, 82 days. Large plants with good disease resistance. Plum-shaped fruits are 5-6 ounces, with thin skin and very meaty flesh. I was sent these seeds from Jack Aldridge who ordered to many from Seeds of Italy. I have been growing them since and can now offer seed on the Exchange and in the Yearbook.
