Pole. Dry bean. Fair flavor as a dry bean. Strongly climbing plants with purple flowers. Thick curved green pods maturing to yellow with red stripe and dash pattern. Fully expanded pods measure 5.9-8.0" long and 0.4-0.6" wide. Pods contain 7 seeds. Medium, elongated kidney shaped grey seeds with black stripes. Hard seeded. Early maturity and low productivity when grown in 2017 at Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE in 2005 by F.J. Bonaventura of California, who indicated this variety has been grown for 2 generations.
