POPCORN
Robert Cooley of Montpelier, Ohio, donated this popcorn variety to SSE in the 1980s. In his donation letter, he stated "I have grown a popcorn for years that no one else raises. There isn't any like it to my knowledge. We have always grown it and saved the seed." This implies lengthy stewardship by Robert, or perhaps his family, but no further historical details were given.
