VEGETABLES / TOMATO
UNSORTED-TOMATOES
Craig Imm of Spring Valley, Minnesota, has been stewarding this variety since 2006 from seed he received from Esther (Lenz) Hellickson (1908-2008) that same year. “I have grown over a hundred different tomato varieties,” says Craig, “and this is by far the finest Oxheart tomato I’ve ever grown. My friend Esther saved seed from it for over 60 years.” Esther told him she got her seed from “an old Norwegian man” in Spring Valley MN when she was in her late 30s. Craig donated this variety to SSE in 2022.
