Also known as "Mila" and "Glada". Bred by PMHZ. Medium-early variety. Dual use for baking/mashing/frying, and distilling. Light yellow flesh. Traditional Polish potato cultivar prized for very high starch content (19.6%), making it the preferred variety for Polish vodka production. Used by Chopin Vodka (Siedlce, Poland). In the US, Woody Creek Distillers near Aspen, CO imported tissue culture from Poland and grows it as a proprietary estate crop; they do not sell seed stock. Essentially unavailable as seed in the US outside of the Alaska Plant Materials Center.
