Judiones beans, brought to RoseWind cohousing in Port Townsend, WA before 2020 by the late maritime northwest farmer Tinker Cavallaro. Mostly used as a dry shelling bean, but also delicious as a fresh (green) shelling bean. Extremely vigorous and prolific pole beans, well adapted to the maritime northwest. We plant them in May and they produce well after every other variety has succumbed to old age or frost. Mostly white flowered, but some red flowered. They look like giant white lima beans. with some each generation coming purple with black markings. When harvested immature, the purple/black ones are a shocking pink, marvelous to see agains the green shell. I'm asking for postage only; free for local pickup. I will include a few of the purple/black beans with each packet.
