Polymnia sonchifolia originally from the Inca of the Andes.Delicious tubers of the sunflower family with oligofructosaccharide sugar that reportedly maintains blood sugar levels (check out medical info first) and was also used as a source of water by the people of the Andes. Tubers are crisp, fruity and juicy. Will sent vegetative stems, not tubers. Each plant will produce stems greater than 6' tall with many tubers.
