Seeds obtained from Nat Bradford in 2014 from 10 melons. Grown out in 2015. From an NPR article about the watermelon: ""To give you an idea of the splendid sweetness of this melon," says Shields, "its 'brix' measurement is 12.5." Brix is a widely used sweetness rating, and most melons hover around 10, which is already considered very sweet." The largest of these is the best flavored, between 40 and 50 lbs.
