Elmer's 13 Row White

Plant avgs 8.5' tall with green stems, single stalk. Leaves pendant. Tassels have secondary branching, avg 20.6" long. Large, cylindrical-conical ears with white kernels and white cobs, 12-16 rows in a regular pattern. Ears avg 6.75" long, 1.9" wide. Ear set 1-2 per plant. Large kernels are dent type, white, and indented on top. Tasseled late in the season. Donated to SSE by Lawrence Lowe who indicated this variety has been grown in Allen County, KY since circa 1990 where it has been used for both animal feed and meal. SSE Accession # 108758
