HEAD
Small, yellow-green butterhead. Almost all leaves are cupped inward and form part of the head, sometimes referred to as a cabbaging lettuce. Heads are small and round but well-developed. Tender, buttery, crisp, mild flavor. Plants reach 5-6" tall and 8-10" wide. Susceptible to leaf tip burn. Black seed. This accession matches the description of Green Mignonette listed in the 1946 Ferry Morse catalogue. Donated to SSE by the late Mary Schultz (WA SC M). SSE Accession # 111771
