Lady Pea

Early maturing, bushy cowpea with very small, cream colored seeds. Peas have a mild green, grassy flavor and cook very quickly. Pods are small and green and remain erect on the plant. Pods are 3-5 inches long and contain 8-13 seeds per pod. Commonly 2-3 pods per peduncle but sometimes 4 or even 5. Moderately productive. White flowers. SSE Accession # 109099
