VEGETABLES / SQUASH
C.-PEPO
This cocozelle squash is dark green with prominent, light green ribs and light green speckling. The blossom attachment is unusual in that it leaves a wide scar. Some fruit develop in an unusual way and are wide at the stem end, tapering toward the blossom end. The plants have giant leaves and thick stems. The relatively open growth habit and upright leaves makes harvest easier. Most plants have just one stem, though a few have multiple. The plants have few flowers. During the 2021 growout at Heritage Farm this variety had medium-low productivity. SSE Accession # 120736
