Chinese Flat Cabbage

B. rapa. Non-heading. A very small yet incredibly attractive and tasty 'bok choy' type Asian green with dark green leaves and light green stems. Plants only 8-13" tall and 13-18" in diameter. Leaves are arranged in a rosette and are rather round with a rounded toothed margin. Glossy leaves measure 5.5-11" long and 2-5.5" wide and have high amount of blistering. Fall grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Moderately sweet, but very crunchy and yet tender. Given a 4 out of 5 for overall taste by SSE staff in 2015.
