Valentine, Early Red

Bush bean with white flowers. Pods slightly curved, four and a half inches long, half inch wide. Average 5 kidney-shaped beans per pod. Seeds light and dark pink mottled. Snaps at 55 days, dry beans 85 days. Originally from the Missouri River tribes. Taken to Europe, then re-introduced to North America in the 1830's.
