FLOWERS / MISC-FLOWERS
Chihuahua Flower. (f.k.a. Tacitus bellus) I grow this one as a care-free houseplant. It faithfully flowers with bright-pink flowers each May before heading outside to enjoy the morning sun on the back patio all summer. Too much hot, direct sun will scorch and wither the leaves. It spends the winters in a south-facing window of the sun room, which drops down into the 30s on cold nights. It hails from the mountains on the border between Chihuahua and Sonora, Mexico, and likely would perish if exposed to temperatures much below freezing. 1-3" tall (foliage) 6-8" (in flower) x 3-4" round.
