Half Runner, State

Half-runner/snap. Great crunchy texture, juicy and sweet. An excellent snap bean. Moderately climbing plants have white flowers. Immature pods are light green with slight constriction. Fully expanded immature pods measure 4.6-5.6" long and 0.4-0.5" wide. Mature pods turn yellow with a light purple dash pattern. Two pods per raceme. 7 seeds per pod. Medium sized white oblong seeds. Average productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. Early maturing. Donated to SSE by Scott Benson (NY BE S). SSE Accession # 105402
