Half Runner, State

Half-runner. Snap bean. Great crunchy texture, juicy and sweet. An excellent snap bean. Moderately climbing plants have white flowers. Immature pods are light green with slight constriction. Fully expanded immature pods measure 4.6-5.6" long and 0.4-0.5" wide. Mature pods turn yellow with a light purple dash pattern. Two pods per raceme. 7 seeds per pod. Medium sized white oblong seeds. Average productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. Early maturing. Donated to SSE by Scott Benson (NY BE S). SSE Accession # 105402
