Typical Danvers shape, slightly wider shoulders. Crisp. Bright orange skin and flesh. Skin, smooth or ridged. Marginal branching. Roots measure 4.6-8.7" in length, 1.1-2.0" in diameter, and 2.3-4.2 oz. Roots moderately uniform. Plants vigorous, semi-erect growth habit, green, dense leaves. Low bolting tendency. Donated to SSE by Robert Wood (KS WO R), who acquired this variety from the Rocky Mountain Seed Company (CV Roc). SSE Accession # 106854
