Georgia Giant, Striped

Big, oblong watermelon with light green skin and dark green stripes. Some size variation. 10-25lbs. 8-14 inches long by 9-12 inches wide. Thick rind. Pink-red flesh. Fair to good eating qualities. Medium sweet with a nice, crisp texture. Brown seeds. Medium-low productivity in northeast Iowa. Mid to late season maturing. SSE Accession # 127819
