Attractive, stout, short triangular shaped roots. Orange roots with bright orange to yellow fleshed roots have smooth skin, pointed tips, flat tops, and acute tapering. Roots 2-5" long and weigh 1.5-4.5 oz. Plants typically have 4-6 green leaves with dense hairs. Low bolting tendency when grown at Heritage Farm in 2015. A good all-purpose carrot that can be eaten raw or cooked. A historic variety which has been commercially available in America since at least 1835. SSE Accession # 106842
