Blue Rind

Huge, oblong watermelon with a dark green skin and pink-red flesh. Very thick rind. Fair flavor. Lacks sweetness. Flesh tends to split in the middle. Produces few fruit but fruit reach 20-40lbs without special care. Can exceed 100lbs by thinning to one fruit/plant. 14-20 inches long, 10 inches wide. White seeds. 7.2 Brix in 2021 planting.
