Brilliant dark pink roots. Long and prominently curved. Roots have many lateral roots, coarse skin, and white flesh. Spicy and crisp. Relatively uniform, but some variation in degree of root curvature. Roots tend to curve back down to the ground and lie on the soil, extending 6-10" above soil line. Roots measure 6-12" long, 1-2" wide and weigh 0.5-1.0lb. Very dark green leaves with a blush red on the petioles. Tall leaves are highly lobed and hairy on the underside. Plants measure 1.5-2' tall and 1.2' in diameter. Plants bolt relatively early. Brix 4.1. SSE Accession # 118666
