Bulbs flat to flat globe shape (wider than tall). Yellow skin, white flesh. One to three growing centers per bulb, rarely up to six. Bulb height 2-3", width 3.5-4.5", weight 7-14 oz. (11 oz. average). The largest 2013 onions came from this variety, but not as uniform a crop as some others. Raw bulbs pungent and slightly sweet. Steamed onions somewhat sweet, slightly pungent. Good storage onion. This variety was trialed in 2016 at the University of Wisconsin's West Madison Agricultural Research Station. Out of 60 plants, 21 yielded "marketable" bulbs and 12 had "unmarketable" bulbs. Average bulb weight was about 4oz. Brix at harvest was 10.2. Donated to SSE by R.L. Twining of Priest River, ID who acquired this variety from Garden City Seeds of Victor, MT. SSE Accession # 114324
