Borries Yellow

Oblong fruit, green with dark green stripes, 6-8" long and 5-7" wide, 2.5-7 lbs.; the 2013 HF watermelon plot had fertility problems and produced undersized fruit. Yellow flesh, rind thickness 0.4-0.6". Seeds white w/ tan tip. Good texture; standard sweetness; juicy. Late maturity when grown in 2013 at Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE by Leonard Borries.
