Butterhead. Loosely heading. Green, round leaves are highly blistered. Slightly undulating leaf margin. Small plants, averaging 4" tall and 7" in diameter. Largest leaves average 3.8" long and wide. Excellent texture. Standard flavor. Early maturing. Donated to SSE by Darrell & Karen Steiner. This variety has been in Karen's family since before 1900. It was originally grown in Tipton, MO, then brought to Dodge City, KS. SSE Accession # 111457
